More Info & RSVP

During an average month in Durham 900 people receive eviction notices. This has a critical impact on our neighbors and neighborhoods – but evictions also occur more at certain times of year and are concentrated in specific areas of the county. A lot of energy has gone into better understanding this topic in the past couple of years and responding with local programs that may help tenants.

In this conversation, we’ll hear from:

  • Legal Aid and the Civil Justice Clinic at Duke on how the first year of the eviction diversion program has gone;
  • from DataWorks about the most recent data on eviction filings in Durham and where they occur;
  • and from you as we follow those topics with discussion of what people are experiencing in Durham’s rental housing and what should happen next.

RSVP for free here and for more information please contact John Killeen at 919.681.2063.

Refreshments will be provided!
