Who Owns Durham

Wednesday, May 8 – 7:00 PM – 302 West Main Street (Center for Responsible Lending)

Join DataWorks NC and the Durham Human Relations Commission Wednesday, May 8 at 7pm for a learning event centered on housing instability in our community.

Who Owns Durham? will highlight work done in 2018-2019 to understand the relationship between evictions and commercial property sales, offering participants a chance to develop ideas to improve housing access and stability in Durham.

Translation and interpretation will be provided in collaboration with tilde Language Justice Cooperative.

Event Schedule
7:00 pm: gallery walk and reception
7:30 pm: intro by tilde Language Justice Cooperative and DataWorks NC
7:40 pm: Ekim Buyuk research overview with Q & A
8:00 pm: Small group sessions on identifying and evaluating ways to prevent displacement
8:40 pm: Closing and next steps
